Tom Demar is a niche actor whose specialty is characters in crisis: identity crisis, relationship crisis, financial crisis, existential crisis, life-or-death crisis...for drama and comedy film, television and stage (contemporary and classical).

​

He started performing professionally in Pennsylvania onstage and on camera, where he joined SAG-AFTRA. He studied classical/contemporary theater, music and dance. In New York City he jumped into theater labs acting, writing and directing, and created original music shows at a jazz club. He became a finalist at The Actors Studio and also performed a lead role in his first Equity production.

His film career began in L.A., playing roles in films screened at Sundance, DGA Fest, Toronto Independent and many more festivals and theaters. Upcoming are supporting leads in new features BITTERSWEET (by TIFF winner Steven Martini, starring William Baldwin and Andrew Leeds), and in THE RUFFIAN (as an Armenian hit man). ​
